The edition 'Ceathair' (Gaelic: 'four') comprises two quartets for four flutes by the German composer and flutist Kathrin Beddig, in which the historical references between traditional Irish and Persian culture can be heard. The two compositions are entitled 'Suantrai' (sweet, lulling to sleep) and 'Ambubaiae' (Syrian flute girls). Join us in exploring these two pieces!
