Dedicated to the victims and survivors of the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, To Bind the Nation's Wounds seeks to portray, through music, some of the emotions and thoughts associatedwith the hours and days surrounding this terrible act. The composer sought to emphasize the inspiring courage and faith shown by the people of Oklahoma as they bonded together and responded to the stark cowardice and terror thatconfronted them.
