Heliospheric II

Heliospheric II is a unqiue duet for vibraphone and cello written by Mark Berry. Berry says about his piece that "The heliosphere is the outer margin of the solar wind---a bubble of charged particles expanding outward in space, against interstellar forces. Scored for Vibraphone and Violoncello, Heliospheric II loosely depicts a journey to the far reaches of this cosmic barrier." Heliospheric II was premiered by the cello/percussion duet, Col Legno at the Hawaii International Conference on the Arts and Humanities 2009.
