In 2003, the Orchestra of St. Luke´s celebrated its 25th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the orchestra and its summer home, the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, jointly commissioned Chen Yi to create a new work commemorating the occasion. The resulting Caramoor's Summer is a lyrical tone poem inspired by the beautiful summer landscapes in America. Orchestral materials are available on rental.
