Grainger's setting captures the light-hearted tone of the story perfectly and is both energetic and expressive whilst keeping its folk-like charm. Originally written in 1908 and published in Grainger's British Folk Music Settings (No. 42), this new Edition Schott publication is scored for either Mezzo Soprano or Baritone.
