This 20-minute symphony for winds was commissioned, premiered and recorded by the United States Marine Band in honor of the 225th anniversary. Set in three movements, the first movement is dramatic, fast and rhythmic. "Speedy Winds," the second movement, is a short, whirling showcase for the woodwinds.
