This beautiful ballad features a lovely melody by Joseph Martin and an incredibly compelling text by the late J. Paul Williams. The events of Christs birth are told from thevantage point of the Christmas star. An optional obbligato part for flute is included in the octavo, and the music provides ample opportunities for childrens chorus to participate in the presentation.
