Mozart's wonderful D major Concerto is beautifully arranged for 3 flutes or 2 flutes and alto flute. While the melody soars in the first flute, the second and third flutes capture the beautiful harmonies, melodic figurations and counterpoints of the orchestra. This arrangement is excellent as a chamber work or in preparation for performing the concerto.
