This new, fundamentally revised version of Practising Timpani offers a practice course focusing on the subjects of elementary rhythms and playing on 2 and 4 timpani. The exercises are progressively structured and proceed systematically in very small steps. The author gives tips on how best to use the etudes.They are suitable for teaching beginners as well as for a thorough technical 'reflection' for advanced players.
