Austin Lovelace gave us many wonderful choral pieces and this setting of Psalm 150 epitomizes his modern style. Open 4ths and 5ths provide a fanfare flavor befitting the “praise” text of this Psalm. Written for Unison or 2-Part choir it is appropriate for any age choir. The optional hand cymbal adds just the right percussion sonority to complete the statement.
