Discovering the variety of organ sound
Schlee, Amen.Halleluja
.
In many of his works for the organ, Schlee explores the variety of different sounds this instrument can produce. The focus, over large parts of the ‚Amen. Halleluja’, is in the nature of a dance. This ‚dance’ characteristic predominates over large sections of the work particulary in the ‚Amen’ and reaches its peak in the subsequent Halleluja in a lavish intensity of sound.
